Māori Medium, One Position - Permanent
Applicants have the exciting opportunity to join Te Pouahi, the Māori Medium (Level 2) Unit of Nelson Central School.
The successful applicant will work collaboratively within our team. Age level negotiable.
Te Pouahi is looking for a kaiako who has the skills, ability and passion for Te Reo me ona Tikanga Māori to work in a Level 2 Māori Medium environment.
Central to Te Pouahi team’s teaching is ensuring each tamaiti feels that they belong and are valued. We expand each child’s personal kete of knowledge and skills by building their confidence through success, within Te Ao Māori, in partnership with their whanau.
Essential skills of the applicant will include the ability to:-
* put ākonga well-being at the heart of all you do
* have a passion for Te Reo me ona Tikanga Māori
* have a commitment to continue learning
MITA allowance included.
